Hi, helping Australian animals like the Platypus and the Wombat is easy. All you need to do is act wild!

Web Conferences

A web conference is a moderated, online, group event that is broadcast live to your PC, Mac or interactive whiteboard using Elluminate (now called Blackboard Collaborate).

Think of it as a mixture of video conferencing, presentation software (PowerPoint) and instant messaging with quizzes, web-site tours and videos thrown into the mix.

Each Act Wild web conference usually lasts for just under an hour and is run by educators from Melbourne Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary or Werribee Open Range Zoo.
