Web Conferences

A web conference is a moderated, online, group event that is broadcast live to your PC, Mac or interactive whiteboard using Blackboard Collaborate.

Think of it as a mixture of video conferencing, presentation slides, and instant messaging with quizzes and videos thrown into the mix.

Each Act Wild web conference usually lasts for 30 minutes and is run by educators from Melbourne Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary or Werribee Open Range Zoo. They feature a live cross to our Zookeepers and animal experts with opportunities for student questions.
