Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s……Zooperman, Zoos Victoria’s Fighting Extinction Zooperhero!
Along with his Extinction Fighting team, Zooperman aims to help Zoos Victoria save wildlife and show people how they can take action to fight extinction. At Healesville Sanctuary there is a very special place, close to Zooperman’s heart, the Threatened Species Unit, a hive of extinction fighting activity.
Have your ever met a Mountain Pygmy Possum up close, patted a Brush-Tailed Rock Wallaby or had a close encounter with a Tassie Devil? Well now you can by jumping on Zooperman’ s Fighting Extinction tour, venturing deep into the Threatened Species Unit. This exciting new tour takes you behind the scenes where you get to see our breeding programs and meet our most endangered animals up close and personal. Zooperman has a special introduction and conclusion message for all the fighting extinction recruits on the tour, and sometimes for a special few, he even makes a personal appearance!
