Hi, helping Australian animals like the Platypus and the Wombat is easy. All you need to do is act wild!
Act Wild iPhone App Goes Wild!

The Act Wild app is now live and – the best bit – totally free for anyone who has an iPhone or iPod Touch!

Act Wild iPhone App - @Zoo Page

Here’s the description from the App Store…

Act Wild is for school-age kids, teenagers, families, cool people, animal lovers and visitors to Melbourne Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary and Werribee Open Range Zoo.

Focused around eight animals – Tigers, Platypus, Wombats, Gorillas, Orang-utans, Zebras, Seals and the Growling Grass Frog – Zoos Victoria’s first iPhone and iPod Touch app helps you do your bit to help these animals in the wild.

Watch videos, record your actions, check in to our Zoos, upload your photos, read the latest Zoo Feeds blog posts, or login/register to Act Wild. You can also view shopping tips, find local conservation events (in Victoria, Australia only) and find out more about Zoos Victoria’s conservation campaigns such as Don’t Palm Us Off and Wash for Wildlife.

Act Wild: because your actions can help save wildlife!
